US Airways Plane Crashes into Hudson River
A plane of the air carrier U.S. Airways, with 153 people aboard and took off from LaGuardia Airport bound for the town of Charlotte in North Carolina fell today to the Hudson River, according to CNN. The pilot tried to return to land when a bird struck the aircraft during takeoff, according to U.S. media.
